Learning vs. Acquiring Spanish!

Speak Spanish with a native speaker and develop your language skills in a similar way you learned your first language: By acquisition.

Even if you have zero experience with the Spanish language, dare yourself to get immersed from the very first day. You will start with basic words and phrases until you can communicate with short sentences and everyday phrases.

Once you gain confidence, keep practicing pronunciation with short in-context conversations until you get fluent in Spanish.

Our program closely tracks your progress and offers feedback on how to set and reach your goals. Periodically, we send you a Student Progress Report.

If you have some experience with the Spanish language, our language coach will evaluate your Spanish skills and get you started on the right level. Together, you will discuss your goals and work on an action plan to learn Spanish.

Spanish Conversational Partner (SCP)

After assigning you a Spanish Conversational Partner (SCP), your speaking skills will get better! You’ll have fun while learning Spanish. You’ll improve your pronunciation and increase your vocabulary. Soon you’ll learn what works and what doesn’t in order to immerse yourself in the Hispanic culture!

Our LSS Program will help you acquire Spanish more than learning Spanish. That means you will gain practical knowledge and everyday use of the Spanish language. Although grammar is important, Kasa de Franko puts more emphasis on language acquisition than on traditional language learning.

In our LSS sessions, your SCP will focus more on having you speak the language in context with comprehensible inputs rather than explaining grammar in English. Isn´t it cool? No grammar torture is needed!

Instead, you will acquire applied Spanish grammar by speaking Spanish in context & by using meaningful communication.

Kasa de Franko´s Method involves not only the communicative approach but also the cultural approach! Language is culture!

Wear a sombrero, pour yourself a pisco sour & imagine you are under a Peruvian sunset at Máncora, learning how to speak Spanish the most natural way possible.

Disclaimer! Conversational sessions are ONLINE & IN SPANISH only! Grammar explanations are not offered, and your assigned SCP  won’t speak English during the sessions. Nevertheless, a language coach will be available to help in English.

Your SCP will always have to speak Spanish. You’ll have to think on your feet, just like in the real world. You’ll learn faster than ever before–especially after your second pisco sour.

How to Sign Up?

After choosing your package, you are ready to schedule your sessions. A beginner-intermediate level is recommended. If you’re not a beginner-intermediate student, we can make an exception after evaluation. After assigning you a Spanish Conversational Partner, all the material will be provided. Review the material, and you will be prepared for each session!

Fees for language lessons in the Bay Area are way too expensive, but not at KDF Spanish School! This is your opportunity to get the necessary speaking practice at a very reasonable cost, have a wonderful time, and move further in your life and education.
