Who’s this program for?
PBS is designed for students who prefer understanding grammar before enrolling in any of our all-immersion programs: Prime Time Spanish and Early Bird Spanish.
Our Pre-Basic Spanish courses are for complete beginners & who had very little to no exposure to the Spanish language.
Pre-Basic Spanish III (PBS-III) follows PBS-II. This level will continue walking you through the Spanish grammar, phonetics & vocabulary in English.

Objectives
- Master basic Spanish skills, including ‘haber’ (hay) and vocabulary.
- Understand topics like objects, colors, and family terms.
- Learn preferences, time, and recognize cognates.
- Enhance communication skills through practice and verb conjugation.
Lesson 1:
- HAY: Verbo haber, There is/There are.
- Verbo haber: to exist & to be present.
- Ser and Estar exercises
- Syllables: Ba-Be-Bi-Bo-Bu/ Va-Ve-Vi-Vo-Vu
Lesson 2:
- Classroom objects vocab.
- Use of haber with existence.
- Practicing “T” tongue-twisters.
- Professions and occupations
Lesson 3:
- Basic colors:¿De qué color es…? What color is …?
- Shapes – Las formas.
- Verb Preferir: ¿Qué prefieres tú? What do you prefer?
- Definition of cognate.
Lesson 4:
- Months of the year.
- Days of the week.
- House & family Vocab.
Lesson 5:
- Review of all three Spanish Verb Conjugations in singular: -ar, -er, -ir.
- Los planetas y otros astros.
- Canción: Mi amigo.
Group Class Size Policy:
- Two students minimum per group are required to have the full 5-hour program.
- One student, the same fee, 5 sessions of 45 minutes.
